Is ScrapCoin worth real money?
Yes, it has a market price. There is a public SCRAP/SOL trading pool on Raydium, so anyone can swap ScrapCoin for SOL (and SOL for euros or dollars on an exchange). The live price is on getscrapcoin.com.
The supply is fixed at 10 billion, 90% of it sits in public time-locks, and the pool's liquidity is locked forever. Anyone can check all of this on the transparency page.
The price goes up and down. ScrapCoin is a game currency, not an investment: play for fun and treat what you earn as a bonus.
What is a cryptocurrency, and why does that matter?
A cryptocurrency is a digital coin recorded on a public blockchain, a shared ledger that nobody can secretly change. ScrapCoin ($SCRAP) lives on the Solana blockchain.
Inside the game your coins are kept safe by the server, like a bank account. When you withdraw, they move to a wallet only you control (we recommend the free Phantom app). From there you can hold them, send them to friends, or deposit them back to the game.
To receive ScrapCoin, a wallet needs a ScrapCoin account. It's created once with one click in Store → Wallet and costs about 0.002 SOL (~€0.21) in network rent, paid from your own wallet and refundable if you ever close it.
